The Self-Hosted Cloud Market Hit $18.48 Billion in 2025. Here's What the Next $30 Billion Looks Like.

The global self-hosted cloud platform market was valued at $18.48 billion in 2025. It's projected to reach $49.67 billion by 2034 — a CAGR of 11.9%. North America alone accounts for 37.6% of that revenue, with $5.44 billion and an 18.5% growth rate.

This isn't a trend. It's a market correction.

For fifteen years, the technology industry told every business the same story: move to the cloud. Rent your compute. Trust the provider. Scale elastically. Don't worry about the bill.

Now 94% of IT leaders fear vendor lock-in. 42% are considering moving workloads back on-premises. And the self-hosted market is growing at nearly double digits.
