Context Bridge

Context Bridge is a system for maintaining persistent context across multiple AI assistant conversations. It addresses the problem of context loss between sessions when using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot.

The Problem

Users of AI assistants frequently encounter the following issues:

• Each new conversation begins with no knowledge of previous sessions
• Users must spend approximately 10 minutes re-explaining their project context at the start of each conversation
• Context fragmentation occurs across different AI platforms
• Inability to simply continue from where a previous conversation ended

The Solution

Context Bridge maintains a single, authoritative context document that can be accessed by any AI assistant. The system works as follows:

• A structured context file is created and maintained
• The file is hosted at a publicly accessible URL
• Users provide this URL to AI assistants at the beginning of conversations
• AI assistants read the context file and immediately understand the current state of work
• Updates to the context file propagate to all future conversations

Technical Implementation

The current implementation uses GitHub Gists as the hosting mechanism, providing version control and public accessibility. A simple update script allows users to refresh the context with a single command.
