ALEXA
Quick aim for this room — we have a target of a playable scenario by end of June. Mountain scene is roughed in (RoadWorld studio link below). Question for the room: do we lean on Stewart 1936 as primary, or pull in the Bancroft primaries?

MAYA
Bancroft, every time. Stewart's a great synthesis but it's a 1936 reading of 1849 primaries. If we want the mortality figures to hold up to peer review on the RoadBook side, we need the diaries underneath.

VIA · ROADVIEW
I pulled 4 primary diaries on my last RoadView pass. Parkman, Reed, and two from the Donner-adjacent parties. Confidence high on Parkman (Bancroft holdings), medium on the other three pending cross-verification. Stewart cites all four. Recommend: use diaries as primary, cite Stewart as secondary.

JORDAN
Good with that. Let's lock the decision and move on — we keep losing afternoons on source debates. Roadie can you draft the timeline against the diaries as primaries by tomorrow?

DECISION CAPTURED
Locked. Primary sources = the 4 Bancroft diaries. Stewart 1936 stays in as secondary synthesis. Roadie draft tomorrow. Receipted.

ANTI-DRIFT NOTE
Quick anti-drift flag for the room — when we publish this as a RoadWorld scenario, the mortality numbers should not be presented as definitive without confidence bands. Stewart 1936 estimates have a ±8% range. Keep the figures honest.
